FPS Media Conducts Mobile Photography Studio Workshop

A Mobile Photography Workshop was held on December 27, 2025, at the VM AIC Headquarters in Brgy. Sto. Cristo, Pulilan. The activity is part of the ongoing media training project of Vice Mayor Atty. Imee DJ. Cruz and was facilitated by Frames Per Second Media.

Students from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Pulilan Campus took part in the workshop, which built on the lessons introduced in earlier training sessions.

This session focused on applying basic mobile photography skills in a studio setting. Frames Per Second Media set up a simple photography studio inside the venue, giving students the chance to work in a more controlled and professional environment using lighting equipment and plain backgrounds.

The trainer walked participants through how a studio setup works, explaining how light placement, background control, and subject positioning can improve photo quality, even when using mobile phones. The discussion highlighted the importance of light direction, balance, and composition in achieving better results.

Hands-on activities were the core of the workshop. Students experimented with different lighting setups and angles while observing how each adjustment affected their photos. This helped them see how controlled lighting can enhance details, depth, and overall image quality.

The workshop continues to support the project’s goal of strengthening students’ technical and creative skills, preparing them for photography competitions both within Pulilan and beyond.

By the end of the session, participants showed greater confidence in using a studio setup for mobile photography, marking another step forward in the ongoing media training program.
