NU captures UAAP men’s volleyball title after straight-set win over FEU

‎MANILA — National University claimed the UAAP men’s volleyball championship after sweeping Far Eastern University in Game 2 of the finals series on May 9, at SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City. ‎ ‎

NU finished the title-clinching match with a 26–24, 25–22, 25–22 victory, surviving tight set finishes where both teams exchanged momentum through extended rallies and pressure plays. ‎

‎FEU started each set strongly and kept the scores near, but NU consistently delivered better execution in the final points, especially in fast attacks and defensive stops during crucial moments. ‎

‎The Bulldogs relied on balanced scoring from their offensive lineup while also holding firm at the net to limit FEU’s finishing chances in the closing stages of each set. ‎ ‎Across UAAP Season 88, many matches were closely contested, showing how evenly matched the top university volleyball programs have become this year. ‎ ‎

With the win, NU continues its strong presence in men’s volleyball, adding another championship to its recent success in the league.
