PNP to serve Sen. Bato's ICC warrant

On Friday, May 22, the Philippine National Police (PNP) sprang into action, acquiring tracker teams to locate Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa after ordering law enforcers to serve an arrest warrant linked to the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) investigation into the Duterte Administration’s Drug War.

According to Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., PNP chief, the investigation will follow strict processes and procedures to serve respect through the constitutional rights in the midst of the tension over the ICC case.

Meanwhile, the ICC has been investigating crimes against humanity connected to thousands of slayings during the crackdown.

The defense of the campaign was followed by Dela Rosa stating that he was prepared to face arrest if officials carried out the warrant.
