The Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night unfolded in a dazzling production that brought together glamour, performance, and national pride, with the first trans woman, Marina Summers, leading the stage as host. Last night’s event became a celebration not only of beauty and confidence but also of the representation of the LGBTQ+ community.

‎The presence of the official host stood out as one of the defining elements of the evening, as she guided the program with confidence and good energy while the competition culminated in the crowning of the new Miss Universe Philippines titleholder.

‎Miss Universe Philippines has remained one of the country’s most prestigious national pageants, serving as a platform for delegates who represent the Philippines on the global stage. Over time, the organization has continued to refresh its presentation style. The event also marked a significant milestone, as Marina Summers made “herstory” as the first trans woman to host the entire Miss Universe Philippines pageant. Just last 2024 MUPH she also performed in the same prestigious competition.

‎At the end of the competition, Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union  was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026, earning the right to represent the country internationally. The coronation moment was met with loud cheers from the audience as confetti filled the stage.

‎Throughout the competition, Marina Summers maintained a very professional and poised hosting as she transitioned in each category. She's being praised by her friends from the drag community. Her friend and also the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race UK VS THE WORLD Season 2, Tia Kofi quoted, “Is it possible to host Miss Universe
